The configurEIGHTor initially creates your board with a white matte finish topsheet. This material is extremely durable and is perfect for the home decorator. Use sharpies, stencils and stickers to create your graphic at home. Or just leave the topsheet blank!
Artist Series
We have teamed up with Tyler Davis (check him at
tbdworkbench.com) to bring you some amazing designs to complement your custom deck. Tyler is a Maine raised snowboarder and artist who moved westward
to pursue the powder dream in the backcountry, first moving to Montana, and he now resides in the other Portland (OR). He now stays connected to the Northeast snowboard scene through producing graphics and testing out boards in the soft playland they call the Pacific Northwest. Tyler's artwork is printed onto a glossy topsheet on your board.
Create your own
The icing on the cake of a custom board. Design EXACTLY what you want to appear on a glossy topsheet on your board. Once you have completed your board shape in the configurEIGHTor , upload your graphic to get an idea of how it will look on the board (this is not the image we will use to print your graphic). To create the true graphic, we will send you true size template of your board to use as a guide. We do this to ensure the best quality graphic for your board. Other sites limit your image file to a few megabytes which is simply not enough to create a full snowboard-sized graphic (think cell phone pictures blown up to life-sized images). Once your have completed your graphic on the full size template, send it back to us and we will print it on your board. See the boardfaq section for more details.
Note
We do not use lacquer or other nasty chemicals on our topsheets. This helps keep our environment healthy, our boards light, and our costs down. Because of this, our boards have a slight fiberglass texture on the topsheets, and are not glassy smooth. Plus, we think it looks cool!
