What is the configurEIGHTor?
The configurEIGHTor is Team Eight's exclusive snowboard design tool that puts you in control of the design process. Whether you are a seasoned pro and know exactly what you want to ride, or are just starting out and have no idea about board sizing, the configurEIGHTor will help create the perfect deck for you.
How does it work?
For advanced riders that know exactly what they want to ride, just create a new board and start putting in the board specs (length, width, etc). Otherwise, choose the beginner route and answer a few questions and the configurEIGHTor will generate a board for you based on your personal profile. As a registered user, each board you create populates your personal Quiver. The Quiver is where your boards are stored, allowing you to design multiple boards in parallel. Not sure if you want your next board to be a forgiving park board, or more aggressive freeride board? Add them both into the Quiver and decide later (or order both)!
What can I customize?
Just about everything! Some board companies offer a “customized” snowboard that only allows you to add your own graphic to the topsheet and couple other minor adjustments. At Team Eight, we feel that a customized snowboard starts with a customized shape. We don't limit you to just a few sizes in a certain model, we let you dial that board down to the last millimeter. Once you have adjusted the shape of your board, move on to customizing the look of your board. Choose from our artist series graphics, or upload your own. Then choose a base color scheme to complement the topsheet (or clash, whatever you like)!
I am ready to order, what is the process?
Add the boards you want to purchase into the shopping cart and place the order. As soon as we receive the order, we start making your boards. Every piece of the board is custom made, there are no pre-fabricated parts here. We typically ship your board out within two weeks of placing the order, but this can change during busy times of the season (we will let you know before ordering if there is a longer wait).
