Privacy Policy
At Team Eight, we take your privacy seriously. We collect the bare minimum of information necessary to improve our website and to make a custom snowboard tailored to your profile. For each visitor, our web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name and browser characteristics. This information is used to optimize our website for your viewing pleasure. Cookies are used on our website to record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit. This helps us understand what content you like, and other nerdy information such as how much bandwidth we need on our server.
Your ConfigurEIGHTor profile is stored on our servers which includes your personal characteristics (height, weight, etc) and email address. This information is only used to help us create the perfect snowboard for you. Under no circumstances is this information used for any other purpose. Team Eight does not store any credit information on our servers (including address and credit card information). We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. Your information is for our use only.
Security
When we transfer and receive sensitive credit information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site. All credit information is processed on a secure page by a PCI Compliant credit card processing firm, and none of the information is stored on our servers.
Changes to the Policy
In the future, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our web site so you are informed about the new policy.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. Each board is individually customized and hand-crafted for the rider and cannot be returned.
Warranty
Our snowboards are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year from the shipping date from our factory. Team Eight reserves the right to evaluate each warranty claim to determine the cause of the defect. The warranty coverage does not include damages resulting from misuse, neglect, abuse, normal wear, breakage (unless determined by Team Eight to be a result of a manufacturing defect).
